We've all felt it at some point in time. That great idea you had that no one listened to, or the time you changed your hairstyle and no one noticed.

I have known for a long time, that there are in general two ways of getting recognition. In a manner of speaking, either be the squeakiest cog, or be sodding good at whatever it is. Now we all know I'm no extrovert, so in all modesty, guess which method I use.

Take it from me, it's never about whether you can, but whether you want to badly enough. That's not a generic motivational phrase, it's the truth. One month ago I told myself I was going to reteach myself to draw. Lo! How the world changes.

Now if I could just get some motivation to study...
