I've recently gotten my hands on Wipeout Pulse, and it's as good as I expected. Gameplay is the same fluid awesomeness, and graphics are an improvement over Pure. Track design is also stellar, from 360 loops to 90 degree vertical descents. Best of all, online play works without a hitch and any noticeable lag.

You know Arthur C. Clarke's famous third law?

"Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic."

It goes for gaming too.

"Any sufficiently skilled player is indistinguishable from a hacker."
